Fujitsu Plasma TV's

The P42VHA20: Performance, Value and Style

Incorporating a wealth of Fujitsu’s latest technologies, the new, redesigned P42VHA20 plasma display features improved picture quality from previous models, along with an expanded feature set including a DVI-D digital input with HDCP.

The Fujitsu Plasmavision SlimScreen P42VHA20 is engineered for superior image quality, operational flexibility and reliability. It features an advanced-technology 852 x 480 pixel panel that
yields a high 700 cd/m2 brightness and remarkable 3000:1 contrast ratio, for highly accurate color and grayscale reproduction and vivid picture quality.

The P42VHA20 can display the output from virtually any video source, and is compatible with HDTV and DTV signals as well as the video output from a computer. Like all Fujitsu Plasmavision
models, it features the company’s exclusive AVM (Advanced Video Movement) digital video processor that virtually eliminates motion artifacts; the AVM also incorporates a built-in line doubler, to assure the best-possible picture performance from any video source.

Offering total Convergent Visual Medium display versatility, the P42VHA20 provides an extensive complement of connection options including two component video inputs and a DVI-D digital video input with HDCP, for best-quality reception of all digital television signals including copy-protected broadcasts. The monitor provides a wide range of performance, convenience and picture adjustment features, and is FCC Class B certified for residential use.

The current generation of Fujitsu Plasmavision monitors are designed to provide the quietest operation yet achieved. The chassis design of the P42VHA20 incorporates features that significantly reduce operating temperatures, such as the company’s exclusive HIC (High Integrated Circuit) technology that utilizes a single integrated circuit to minimize heat generation, and improved chassis ventilation. These design upgrades and other refinements eliminate the need for an internal fan, yielding ultra-quiet operation while maintaining product reliability.

In common with Fujitsu’s latest Plasmavision monitors, the P42VHA20 is newly restyled for a more refined appearance, with a slim-design, light metallic silver chassis that complements the most elegant decors and home entertainment systems.
