Peerless Industries introduce Solid Point Line of Plasma wall mounts

As the demand for plasma screens increases, so does the demand for mounting accessories. Peerless Industries, Inc. (Melrose Park, IL) is meeting this need by expanding their line of plasma mounts, under the Solid Point name. New this year is a redesigned plasma wall mount for 32"-50" plasma screens. Peerless engineered this wall mount to hold the screen closer to the wall and provide a combination of security, versatility and ease of installation.

Peerless’ Solid Point mounts are available with or without tilt. The flat design with no tilt holds the screen approximately 1.5 inches* away from the wall, while the design with tilt adds approximately 2 inches* to the depth of the screen and offers 20° of adjustable forward tilt (*width minimal variance dependent upon plasma screen model). Both configurations feature the same innovative mechanism with visual guides to help ensure the safe installation of the screen on the wall mount. A contrasting aluminum race on the screen bracket slides into the wall plate; this helps guide the installer and ensures that the screen is secured to the wall plate.

The positioning of the screen can be adjusted horizontally within a range of 4 inches left or 4 inches right of center. To add to the overall practicality of this mount, the screen can be installed horizontally or vertically; the plasma screen can also be rotated from landscape to portrait after installation. In order to accommodate various installation requirements, the wall plate can be mounted to studs with 16”, 20” and 24” centers. Finally, to ensure the integrity and security of the equipment, theft-resistant fasteners are included to secure the plasma screen to the mount.

This mount is made to support specific screen makes and models. A full line of models is available to support numerous plasma screens from more than twenty-five manufacturers now, and more will be added as manufacturers introduce new screens. Peerless has kept the price of this redesigned wall mount identical to the price of the previous design.
