DAEWOO DIGITAL unveils award-winning 42” Plasma Monitor
Super bright Wide screen Plasma Panel DSP-4280GM
Captures Innovations 2002 Award for Design & Engineering
Daewoo Digital will officially launch its brand new 42”
Plasma Display Panel at the INFOCOMM 2002 Exposition and Trade
Show in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 12, 2002 to Business and Industry
markets. Daewoo’s new DSP-4280GM 42-inch, 16:9 aspect ratio
widescreen Plasma monitor is spectacularly sharp and bright with
600 cd/m2 brightness and 3000:1 contrast ratio, making it the
perfect display choice for well-light environments such as retail
in-store displays and corporate presentations.
“Few people know that Daewoo Electronics, LTD. is only
one of five manufacturers in the entire world that manufacturers
its own Plasma Panel. Our excellent engineering and manufacturing
capabilities enable us to continue to lead the market in the development
of HDTV display products, and our newest super-bright DSP-4280GM
does just that by delivering technical excellence demanded by
the corporate and retail marketplace,” says Frank Giannuzzi,
Daewoo Digital’s Director of Marketing for HDTV products.
The new DSP-4280GM is Daewoo’s fourth generation PDP, and
as a result of meticulous engineering and ongoing improvements,
is brighter and has a higher contrast ratio than previous models.
“Our new DSP-4280GM replaces all previous models by DAEWOO,
but it maintains the same pricing and features making it one of
the industry’s best values”, says Mr. Giannuzzi.
“We first showed it to enthusiastic audiences at CES 2002
where it won the prestigious 2002 Innovation Design & Engineering
Award. We anticipate very strong demand in the Business &
Industry markets here in the U.S.”
AWARD-WINNING DIGITAL DISPLAY PRODUCTS
Capturing the attention of trade show attendees, exhibitors and
judges alike, Daewoo’s DSP-4280GM was one of two Daewoo
Electronics products to be awarded the celebrated Innovations
2002 award for design and engineering, sponsored by the Consumer
Electronics Association and endorsed by the Industrial Designers
Society of America. Daewoo was the first plasma manufacturer to
offer no internal cooling fans with an open air flow design for
quiet operation, and the slimmest depth of only 3.25 inches.
