The Pioneer plasma tv line up of HD displays

Pioneer plasma tv's concentrate exclusively on the HDTV plasma sector with four models in two popular screen sizes - 43" and 50". Pioneer plasma tv's are unusual for the fact that they are designed, developed and manufactured entirely in house with few, if any, of their plasma screens sold to other display companies for rebranding. Rebranding being a common practice in an industry where there are only about 8 plasma screen manufacturers but over 50 different brand names.

Pioneer plasma tv's are produced in two models, the pioneer line and the higher specification Elite line, for each of their screen sizes. All four models come with an outboard ATSC terrestrial HDTV tuner equipped with a full set of interfaces including HDMI, speakers and a stand

• PDP-4340HD - a 43" 16:9 panel with 1024x768p resolution

Elite line

• PRO1110HD - a 50: 16:9 panel with 1280x768p resolution
• PRP910HD - a 43" 16:9 panel with 1024x768p resolution
